Carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) hay cellulose gum là một dẫn xuất xenlulo với các nhóm cacboxymetyl (-CH2-COOH) liên kết với một số nhóm hydroxyl của các monome glucopyranose tạo nên xương sống xenluloza. Nó thường ở dạng muối natri, natri cacboxymethyl cellulose.
